An Invitation

Dear Lovely Readers,

After decades working as a jobbing writer, producing words for, and in, other people’s voices, I finally have the chance to write for myself. And boy, am I taking it!

At the moment, I’m finishing my first fiction, racing to a deadline that is dead ahead. It’s a story of heredity, music and haunting set in the early years of psychoanalysis. As a first-time novelist I’m thrilled it’s being represented by Folio Literary Management, NY.

So I can continue writing, I’m opting for a paid subscription here. No Foundation Plans etc., just the straightforward monthly sub for the price of a couple of coffees. If you enjoy what I write and you’d like to have those coffees with me – and the sparrows - I’d be delighted if you’d become a subscriber.

I have plans to develop Aria in the time ahead and hope you will enjoy what comes. In the meantime, here’s the cherry blossom fresh from Tokyo.
